By creating an account or using bhere ("the App"), you agree to these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the App.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By using bhere, you confirm that you:

• Are 18 years of age or older
• Are using your real identity
• Have not been previously banned or removed from bhere
• Will comply with these Terms and all applicable laws

bhere reserves the right to update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the App constitutes acceptance of updated Terms.

2. Purpose of the App

bhere is a social coordination platform designed to help users discover and organise in-person group activities and meetups.

bhere:

• Is not a dating service
• Does not arrange, supervise, or participate in meetups
• Does not verify compatibility, intent, or behaviour beyond limited identity checks

All interactions and decisions made through the App are solely the responsibility of the user.

3. User Conduct & Safety

You agree that you will:

• Meet others at your own discretion and risk
• Meet initially in public places
• Respect the boundaries, consent, and comfort of others
• Not harass, threaten, exploit, intimidate, stalk, or harm any person
• Not use bhere for romantic, sexual, escorting, or commercial solicitation purposes
• Immediately report unsafe behaviour via the App or support channels

3.5 Commercial & Prohibited Uses

You agree NOT to use bhere for:

• Escorting, compensated dating, or sexual services
• Commercial solicitation, advertising, or lead generation
• Multi-level marketing or pyramid schemes
• Professional networking or business development
• Any activity intended to generate income or profit
• Arranging paid events without bhere's written consent

Violation may result in permanent ban and legal action. bhere may remove content or suspend accounts that violate these standards, at its sole discretion.

4. Verification & Identity

To promote community trust and safety, you authorise bhere to:

• Verify your phone number
• Use your selfie photo for identity verification purposes
• Calculate your age from your date of birth
• Temporarily store verification materials (deleted within 30 days, unless legally required otherwise)
• Disclose information if required by law, court order, or lawful authority

4.2 Age Verification Authorisation

You specifically authorise bhere to use your selfie photo and date of birth to verify you are 18+ years old. This age verification is a condition of service.

4.3 Third-Party Verification Services

bhere may use third-party identity verification services. You consent to your data being processed by these services for verification purposes only. bhere does not conduct criminal background checks.

5. Content & Data Use

By using bhere, you grant us permission to:

• Display your profile information and photos to other verified users
• Use anonymised and aggregated data to improve safety, features, and performance
• Remove or moderate content that violates these Terms without notice
• Use feedback or suggestions you provide without compensation

You retain ownership of your content.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

• bhere is not responsible for offline interactions, conduct, or outcomes
• bhere makes no guarantees regarding safety, attendance, compatibility, or behaviour
• bhere is not liable for loss, injury, harm, or damages arising from meetups or interactions initiated through the App
• Use of bhere is at your own risk

6.3 Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless bhere, its directors, employees, and affiliates from any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, or expenses arising from:

• Your use of the App or violation of these Terms
• Your interactions with other users
• Your attendance at or hosting of meetups
• Any injury, harm, or damage caused to others and/or property

This includes legal fees and settlement costs.

7. Account Suspension & Termination

bhere may suspend or terminate accounts for:

• False, misleading, or impersonated information
• Harassment, unsafe conduct, or violations of these Terms
• Repeated no-shows or misuse of the platform
• Any activity that threatens user safety or platform integrity

bhere may investigate reports, complaints, disputes, suspected misuse of the platform, or behaviour that may threaten user safety or platform integrity. bhere may remove content, restrict features, suspend accounts, or take other action at its sole discretion.

You may delete your account at any time via Settings.

8. General Disclaimers

8.1 bhere provides a platform for connection but does not endorse, evaluate, or guarantee the character, intentions, or behaviour of any user.

8.2 Users are solely responsible for verifying the identity and appropriateness of others before meeting.

8.3 bhere does not conduct criminal background checks, psychological evaluations, or compatibility assessments.

8.4 Meetups arranged through bhere are independent activities between users. bhere is not a participant, host, or organiser.

8.5 The App may contain inaccuracies or errors. bhere does not guarantee uninterrupted, secure, or error-free service.

8.6 bhere provides tools for user verification and reporting but does not guarantee prevention of criminal activity. Users assume all risks associated with in-person meetings.

8.7 bhere's verification process confirms identity, not character or behavioural history. A verified badge indicates identity confirmation only, not endorsement of behaviour.

9. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Australia, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of New South Wales.
